Dear Sir,
I am an NRI residing in Doha, Qatar. I sent an amount of Rs.1 lakh online to Bank of Baroda, Chennai through Doha Bank, Qatar. The correspondent bank of Doha Bank in India is Axis Bank. Axis Bank has deducted Rs.78 before crediting the balance amount into my Bank of Baroda account. As per RBI's regulations, no charges are to be levied on inward remittances. Please see this link:

Also, Axis Bank's own website says that there are no charges for inter-bank fund transfer for inward remittances. Please see this link

I wrote to Axis Bank and they replied that this was their charges. Not satisfied, I even complained to their ombudsman, but till date there is no reply. I feel really cheated as Axis Bank is openly flouting RBI's regulations and also what is mentioned in their own website. Is there no hope for me to regain my amount? Also, this daylight robbery by Axis Bank has to stop forthwith.
