Whomever it may concerned.

This is to inform you that I have purchased a motor insurance (renewed my car policy of ford fiesta) from Bajaj Allianz on Friday 19th November.

The payment of Rs. 15, 378.00 was made through my Citibank Credit card on 20-NOV-10 at BAJAJALLIANZ-BILLDES.

As my car policy was lapsed on 13th of November and also it is an offence in India to drive a vehicle without insurance, I didn’t want to delay it anymore hence I clearly mentioned to Ms. Tarannum (From Bajaj Allianz, Pune) that I want my policy to be renew immediately and I will purchase the insurance from you company only if your company is willing to provide the same on urgently basis.

I was assured by the above mentioned person that the same will be done as soon as I make payment preferably by Credit card. I therefore choose to make payment by my credit so that my policy gets renewed on immediately basis and I can start using my vehicle (its current parked at my resident and I am travelling in bus, local trains and taxis, spending lot of money).

As soon as I made the payment, I called up Tarannum however, she didn’t pick up the call despite trying a couple of times. I then emailed her keeping her other collogues on CC and mentioned that I have made the payment and waiting for the soft copy of the policy.

To my surprise there was no response to it (please note that I had exchanged a couple of emails before making the payment regarding some clarification on the policy and all emails were answer within an hour). However, this time even after 24 hours, there was no response.

I again called up a couple of times on 22nd November (after waiting for 03 days) in the morning but no response. I again wrote an email to Tarannum keeping her other collogues on CC still no response from there end. Called up on the board line number and after requesting numerous time to the customer care executive and waiting for about 20 mins on phone, I got to speak with Tarannum. She again assured me that the policy will be done and the same will be sent across to by 4.30 or 5 PM today evening via email (soft copy) but it wasn’t done.

After getting too frustrated with their careless behavior, I again wrote an email to them at 6.43 PM on 22nd November but still there is no response again.

I wonder India is the 3rd powerful nation and our economy is one of the strongest in the world still we face such behavior from reputed companies like Bajaj. We as individuals get attracted to such big companies hoping they would provides us good service. Our hard earned money will not go waste however, increasing such incidents make us thing if there is anyone listening, is anyone bother or willing to help.

On 23rd November, finally I get a soft copy of the policy and guess what, the details in the policy are incorrect. Even they have the RC book of my car, still they made mistake in vehicle number…. Isn’t height of careless behavior.

I am tired and frustrated with the follow ups and getting no response to it. I am not able to attend my office on time as I have to manage with public transport with my bad health.

I would like to advice all the people of my nation, don’t ever trust Bajaj Allianz, it’s the worst company I have ever come across. I was advised by my car dealer that these guys are the worst in the business however, I still trusted them since it is Bajaj however, I was wrong and feel too disappointed. Are you listening Mr. Rahul Bajaj?
