This complaint is regarding an international BPO company named First Step Infoslolution in Dwarka Sector-7, New Delhi - 110077. The company is owned by Ahutosh Tiwari.
The company has always been giving the salaries late to the employees. Now the company has not paid most employees for the past 3 – 4 months. The employees stayed and worked in company even though the salary was less and given late, out of pity and attachment with the company as the owner always acted like a good gentleman.By the last week of March the owner decided to stop the company for some days saying that they feel guilty to make the employees work without paying the salary and promised the employees to pay soon. The company remained closed for the month of April too. However the owner promised that it’ll be paid leave and that the money will be paid in full. The owner went to his own place saying that he will sell off his properties and come pay the employees. Till date the owner has not paid the salaries to everyone. He pays a small amount to some employees.
Now one of my best friends has not received her full salary of March. The company despite of promising to pay the full salary decided to cut their performance allowances. My friend was a team leader and she even reached her target in the month of February and was entitled to get a sum of Rs.20000 as incentive. Her performance allowance of March and April was decided to be cut. And since she resigned the company on the 1st May the owner now told her that she has to give up her April salary to get the experience certificate. She agreed on it. But she still has not got her experience certificate nor her salary. And the owner has now decided not to give the incentives of any employees. (Incentives earned by reaching the target by hard work)
Now there has been some news that Ashutosh Tiwari, the owner of First Step Infosolution is setting up an apartment in Lucknow to start a new company. All this time he has been saying that he doesn’t have money and has been extending the date of payment of salary. And finally decided not to pay most of the employees’ salary.
Some employees are not even able to pay their house rent as their job in this company was their only income, like my best friend.
I’m not an employee of the company but a best friend of an employee in the company, reporting this complaint. I would suggest that this complaint is taken seriously and strong action taken against the company. This is such an exploitation of people and their life, wasting their time.
