Credit Card application got disapproved

Hi HDFC Team,

Sometime (approx 1 month) back I got a call from HDFC executive, I do not remember the name of the guy, he convinced me to apply for a credit card. I applied and, got each and every verification done positively at my office and home. Even I got so many calls in my office regarding verification. Today, I checked my application status at HDFC website and it got disapproved and the status was:

DISAPPROVED

Remarks

DISAPPROVAL OF THE CREDIT CARD APPLICATION DOES NOT REFLECT IN ANYWAY ON YOUR CREDIT STANDING OR YOUR FINANCIAL STABILITY

I immediately called customer care and they were not able to tell me the exact reason for disapproval. Can someone tell me the reason of disapproval.
