Account Closure request pending from 2 Months

Dear Sir,

This is in reference of poor response received from the Customer Care and from the ICICI direct persons for not closing the account closure request from last 2 months and getting delayed without any proper reasons of delay.

The brief details :

on 5-Feb a written request is placed in the ICICI direct, Madhapur office for closing the Trading account, and after periodic intervals on my tracking of closing the request,

always received the response, that my request is under the process. After tracking the request for 20 Days, I have met the Branch manager, and he has confirmed to me that

the request will be closed in 2 days. And then after long tracking came to know that my request is not yet register or due to some technical problems, the request itself is not get registered.

New request is raised by the Team SR169707678 on 6 Mar, with the confirmation that within 2 working days the request will be closed.

Another request is raised by the Team SR170344393 on 11 Mar, with the confirmation that within 9 working days the trading account will be closed.

Till now myself has to track the account closure. Request you to take the necessary action immediately.

Also I want to remind you again that due to this I am not able to close my linked Savings Banks account and I am also not maintaining any minimum balance in my savings accounts (Account No :

018301006808) and because of which in case any charges are levied by the bank on my savings account, I will not going to pay this balance and need to be waived off by the ICICI bank. As this is been communicated multiple times to the ICICI Direct persons.

I want to understand the problem/reason in completing the request, as this

is most worse response, a representative can give, where he also does not

know how much

time it will take to complete the request.

You are making an open statement that, we will get back to you. If this is

the response from the Customer care, then I am sorry to say that

based on the response received so far, I am thinking for the Consumer forum

case to be placed on the ICICI direct and to ask for the compensate

for the time and money I wasted in order to do the follow up at the Branch

and through email.

Already the request has taken more than 1.5 Months and still the response

is Negative.

Also I want to remind you again that due to this I am not able to close my

I have not received any acknowledgment receipt as the request is been taken

on the Closure form by taking the printout, No acknowledgment receipt is

provided to me.

Regarding this request I have followed up with Mr Atul and Mr Rajkumar

(Branch Manager) (Phone : 9642328117).

As per last status, an SIR is already raised by them for the account

Closure, but after that nothing has happened.

Hi Rajkumar,

I am sending this mail on getting the poorest response from the ICICI

Securities for not taking any action on the Account Closing request

done a Month Back. The original request was made on the 5-Feb at the

ICICI Direct center in Madhavpur, Hyderabad.

I have tracked the request by visiting the ICICI direct office multiple

times on my own, and have also visited personally to you and tracked with

you on phone, but the response is negative. This is highly regretfully to

say that we have taken one month in closing the Trading account (still

pending)

from such a reputed bank.

Because of this my Saving bank account Closing request is also not getting

Closed, which I have raised 40 Days back (Req: on 29-01). I am also

not maintaining any minimum balance in my

savings accounts (Account No : 018301006808) and because of which in case

any charges are levied by the bank on my savings account, I will not going

to pay this balance.

The reasons I have received from the banks is that they are busy with the

Financial year closing, but this is not my problem and neither I have

concerned with this and I am not sure

is the bank needs two months in doing the financial year closure with so

many IT solutions available with them.

Hope will get the positive response from the ICICI Securities on the same,

and I do not have to follow for this any more.
