Complaint against Indiainfoline for TATA AIG Life Insurance policy

Hi,

I want to complaint against IndiaInfoline Insurance Brokers Ltd. because the agent who advised the details of this policy had given wrong information to my father Mr. Digvijay Prasad Singh.

The Agent called my father on 03/09 and told that through a lucky draw your BSNL mobile number 09470840629 has been selected in the list of 20 numbers from all the BSNL numbers of Vaishali district.

The agent explained the lucky draw benefits as below:

1. A 4 days and 3 nights holiday package offer will be provided for any 1 selected cities provided in the coupon voucher for holiday and the coupon will be valid till 15th December and can be extended if you will purchase a Tata AIG Maha Life Gold Life Insurance Plan.

2. Insurance with coverage of Rs. 1 Lack for 1 year without any premium.

3. The premium for Tata AIG Maha Life Gold Life Insurance Plan would be Rs 10000 per year and it would a special plan with special additional benefits for you and other 19 people also whose mobile number has been selected in the lucky draw, and the benefits would be as follows.

a. It is a life long plan for you and your spouse.

b. You and your spouse will be covered in this plan with death benefit of Rs. 2 lacks.

c. Premium will need to be paid only for 3 years.

d. You will be getting a payment cheque of Rs 1500 per month after completion on three years.

e. In case of death of any couple member (you or spouse) survivor will be getting a payment cheque of Rs 3000 per month.

f. You will be eligible of a loan of Rs. 1 lack after 1 year with 0 % interest.

After this conversation with my father I called to Tata AIG customer service also on 03/09 or 04/09 through mobile number 9868483250 to confirm the details and benefits of this plan and was told that there is no any such benefits according to this plan and for coverage amount of 2 Lacks premium amount will be required of approx Rs. 17000. In the mean time it was informed by the customer service representative that the plan can be like with the details which I had provided as mentioned above as your mobile number has been selected in the lucky draw and it would a special plan with special additional benefits for you also.

I informed the same to the agent of IndiaInfoline and was replied that as your mobile number has been selected in the lucky draw so it would a special plan with special additional benefits for you also and the same details will be given to you with bond paper also.

But when I visited to my village last month and reviewed the bold papers and got to know that all the information was given incorrect by the agent.

And if I am not wrong the same would have been happened with the other 19 peoples also whose mobile number was selected in the lucky draw if any of them had elected this plan, please investigate it also.

I wanted a written explanation from IndiaInfoline. For the same few days earlier my father visited to Hajipur branch office of Indiainfoline and got to know that all the staff member have been changed and nobody have knowledge of this lucky draw and they are not providing any details regarding the same.
