IRDA-ICICI
BONUS ON LIFE INSURANCE POLICY

I got a call from a person claiming to be the regional head of IRDA. He first gave me all the details of a insurance policy which i had taken few month back (Like my name, DOB, Policy no, Premium amt, Next due date, Date of issue)

Then he told me about a bonus that will be give by IRDA if i submit a security amount (Refundable). That security amount will be taken from me against issuing me a policy of ICICI or reliance. For a bonus of 1.2 Lakhs i had to submit (take a policy) of 40000.00, Similarly for a bonus of Rs 1.80 Lakhs, 3.2 Lakhs or 4 Lakhs i had to submit a amount of Rs 60000 or 80000 or 99000 respectively.

I pretended to believe him. He asked me my address which i gave him. Then i got a call from ICICI which told me that a collection person will come to my home take the documnets and the cheque.

I had complained to ICICI as to how they have reveiled my details to any third party.

Any ways i am not a fool to fall in their trap.

So i am not going to take Rs 4 Lakhs by depositing Rs 99000.
