NON-RECEIPT OF SHARES OF COMET STEELS SHARES AFTER THE ENTITY GOT MERGED INTO JAI CORPORATION LTD
REF: FOLIO NO 72101. NO OF SHARES : 100 TRANSFER NO 8742 NAME OF THE HOLDER: YALAMARTH SATYANARAYANA PRASAD, CERTICATE NO. 82512
The share certificate with the above reference was sent to Karvy Stock Broking Ltd, 21 Avenue, 4, Street No 1, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad through professional couriers for arranging transfer of my shares as the Comet Steels got merged into Jai Corporation Ltd. As I had not received any shares from the parties involed, I petitioned to Karvy Stock Broking Ltd for their intervention and necessary action. M/S karvy... vide their Ref: R/KCPL/RIS/JCL/61733 dated Jun 31 wrote a letter to M/s Jai Corporation Ltd for doing the needful. As no reply was received from them, I approached SEBI for their intervention. SEBI vide their ACK. REF No. 0021785/01 dated 10-08 requested the Jai corporation Ltd to do the needful.
Inspite of all these efforts I could not get any reply from M/s Jai Corporation Ltd. The recalcitrant attitude of the entity is proving to be a nightmare for the small investors. I would like to know the whereabouts of the share certificate I sent and in whose name the subject shares have been transferred.
I request that necessary guidance may be provided for getting the shares transferred in my name lest I should lose my hard-earned money.
