Respected Sir,
I purchased an LG 510 CDMA dated on 7/7 from connections & more, amba bhavan. mumbai 400004, cntct num. 9867627322, bill no.6353 under the MOBILE THEFT INSURANCE policy as per stated by the dealer and as mentioned in the user manual.
On 10/11 i misplaced (theft) my cell phone. As per the terms & conditons i filled the insurance form with the attachment of following documents as per stated
1. FIR (certified copy)
2. Bill (original)
to the Cholamandalam insurance company, Gurgaon
in response to this i received a letter fro the insurance agency saying that
ONLY GSM HANDSETS ARE COVERED (NOT CDMA) UNDER THE POLICY .
1) I need to know that is insurance covered in CDMA hansets.
2) why am i not getting a proper response in accordence to my complaints.
3) If it is not under insurance then why are dealer's as well as LG selling handsets under insurance.
kindly look into this matter strictly or my next step will b consulting and complaining to consumer court if i dont get a satisfying response.
