Dear Sir/Madam,
Why there is an increase of house tax without any notice given to all of us staying at mira-Bhayander. I have recently bought a flat of an area 620 sqft and house tax which has come Rs.7100/-.
Being a citizen of this country, can we please have justification of such a high amount. What are the changes done by the govt. Since last 3 year I have not see any road constructed in my area, No improvement of water supply, surviving on local water supplier. Nothing has been done for open drainage line and garbage dump.
Secondly, there is a variation of house tax people stating in same locality. It’s been noticed that person with big area got less house tax wherein person with small area has to pay bigger amount. What makes this change.
Payment of such a big amount for a middle class person if really not feasible and in future no one would prefer buying any flat in that area.
For one percentage, we pay the tax but what is the assurance that money will be utilized for our area development. What is the planning done by the govt. Can we please have clear picture before we make a payment of this Tax.
I think no one would like to pay the TAX being in DARK.
