Subject: LONG Delay in paying my cheque of reversal amount by Max New York Life
Hi,
I am Rohit Saxena, a ULIP plan holder of Max New York Life Policy (Policy #: 444219075)
Initiation date of the policy : 13th July
Policy amount paid : 49, 999 per month
This year due to some misunderstaning the premiun amount was paid twice from my side i.e 49, 999 *2.
One by me & one by my bank (yes bank).
I requested for the reversal of the excess amount i.e 49, 999 which was discussed several times and finally the issued a request number (Request #: 3199270) on 22nd of July for reversal of 49, 999/-.
I was told that I will receive the above mentioned amount in 10 days. After few days when did not receive any cheque I called up again for which I was told that courier company has returned the cheque saying the user has shifted from mentioned address.
On getting the address cheked it was found that the address is correct & I am still living at the same address. The cheque was again despatched. But surprisingly I did not receieve it again.
Again called up several times but finally told that it returned back with the same reason & they destroyed the cheque.
I talked to some senior executive from South Zone (Vishaka) that its not my problem if your courier company is returning it with wrong reasons. The adress is still very much valid & I am living over there. Its a prime location & every courier company is delivereing over here.
She assured me of expediting the things & getting it reissued again (request number : 3442249) but of no use. Today its been more then a month & on calling Max New York Life there is no sense of responsibility or urgency.
The cheque is still not ready & obviously not dispatched. Despite so many reminders & calls there is no proper response. (Although on 16th August Vishaka told me that it has already been dispatched)
3rd request was raised on 13th August and today is 30th August (17 days) the cheque is still not dispatched.
I am every time told name of Santosh Srivastav who is handling my case & HE NEVER TOOK PAIN TO EVEN COURIER THE CHEQUE TILL NOW.
NOW, the situation is, I have requested for refund. Its been more then a month. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. There is no status update of that. It's only me who is at loss as I needed my money & also I am losing interest on that.
Neither Max new York Life is at loss (rather they are gaining) not their courier company (first flight) who did not deliver despite corrrect address.
No matter how much you escalte it there s no one to listen. I feel like trapped & helpless. Who will bear the financial losses that I will incur due to delay in receiving the money???
Need urgent help & someone to look into this matter
