Atm card not yet activated

Sir i got my card as i opened a new accoutn on saturday in obc bank dehradun u.k pin 248001 branch nehru colony selaqui. but its not yet activated as on inserting the card in atm machine it displays a message that the card is not valid.. please do solve my problem.
