Some persons visiting door to door to check the availability of Indane gas connection.
We have given the consumer numbers. Then he insisting for Inspection and charging
Rs-70/- from the customers. When we asked for the reason he said that “ checking the
Multiple connection and safety of the gas connection”. We educated persons know well
about what to do for safety. He claimed that this is a Biannual Domestic customer
Inspection. They just check whether the flame is ok and check the Rubber Tube condition. Now most of us using Suraksha LPG Hose. For this simple inspection they charge Rs. 70/- and no separate receipt. The original inspection form itself is the receipt
for the amount paid by the customer. This Common Form printed as Recommended by Indane, HP & Bharatgas.
Is this Inspection is compulsory or option left to the customers?
