Citibank representative forced an extra loan to my account by giving wrong information Tamil nadu

I applied for a Personal loan of Rupees 3.5 lakhs with Citibank and an agent came over and collected documents regarding my Salary Account (in UTI Bank)
- I was told that the loan will be given subject to approval

- Next day a citibank representative called me saying I am eligible for upto Rs. 8 lakhs without documentation or signature
- I said I have applied for a loan for which she said it will take a long time to process and this loan would take only a day to process as it is pre-approved
- She also mentioned that if I take this loan I will not be approved the other loan and took my TPIN number and verified that 99% the loan will not be given, if given, the DD will come to my home which I can destroy
- She assured me there will not be 2 different loans and only one of them will be given
- I gave my approval

- I first got my loan for Rs. 3.5 Laks in my citibank account in a day
- The DD never came to my home
- I was shocked to see there is another 3.5 lakhs sitting in my UTI bank account directly deposited by Citibank and my salary will be deducted of the EMI every month
- Now I am in a soup as I have to pay monthly EMIs for 2 loans which includes interest on the second loan that I did not want

- The citibank representative had confirmed me again and again over the phone to my question that the loan will not be processed for my personal loan after checking my details etc and verified about my loan etc

I tried calling Citibank and after a 6 minute wait the phone got disconnected. I tried again and it announced another 5 minute wait but the agent redirected me to another department and put me on another long wait.

I sent 2 queries via online banking regarding information and I havent heard from them since a week.

I have always been a happy customer with Citibank until this incident which has left me in a confused and distressed position. I dont know how to handle this situation now that I have to start paying 32000 32000 = Rs. 62000 per month as EMI which puts me in a jeopardy!!

I hope citibank realizes this mistake and nullifies my second loan without any processing charges or EMIs
