Horrible customer care and wrong information

My no. is 9910075482. I recently got my connection changed from postpaid to prepaid. While submitting form I even asked the person if I have to submit any documents. He said no. Now my ph no. has been blocked and I have been asked to furnish address proof. This is utter nonsense. It seems there is simply no proper information given to consumer. This is total consumer harassment and I as consumer am aware of my rights.
