I booked for a Honda Activa Delux (Black Color) at JSP Honda, Kukatpally, Hyderabad on November 7th. During booking I was told that it would take around 120 days for my vehicle to be delivered. On 15th of february I casually called the dealer to know the status of my booking. The customer service person told me that my vehicle is ready and I should come immediately and pay the money and collect take the delivery of the boke otherwise it will be alloted to someone else due to the hude demand. I double confirmed the arrival of my bike to which I was told to make part payment of the bike on 16th and collect the bike on 17th February after paying the rest of the amount. As instructed I went to the showroom to make the payment.
First of all the showroom people made to wait for 1/2 an hour and after that the sales person came back and told me that the bike is not yet come and I need to wait for another month. I was annoyed by his response and questioned him why I was told to come make the payment when my bile had not yet come for which he responded that they thought that mine was a Normal Honda Activa and not Honda Activa Delux so they asked me to come. In fact whenever I have called to the dealer I have clearly mentioned my bike model inspite of which the customer service people have given me wrong information. I actually met the propreitor and complained to her to which her casual response was "there is no much difference between normal delux models and if I wish I can take the normal model right away" to which I refused. Moreover when I requested them to let me know how much more time its going to take for my delivery they made me wait for another hour and then said that they will intimate me when the next load comes to their showroom.
I request the concerned authorities to take some strict action against the dealer. TO my surprise I came to know that one of my friend who had booked at the same place for the same model two weeks after I had booked got the delivery of his bike.
Hope that this complaint would be taken seriously and ensure faster delivery of my vehicle.
