I traveled to Hyderabad on 10th night and got down from the AEROBUS after the flyover at Medhipatnam. I had to go to hotel Merriot. I hired an auto standing there. The distance of travel was told to me as ~ 4 Km. However the driver of the auto manupulated the meter (operated some lever/ switch below his dashboard) so that the meter started running forward every 20 meters. The meter at Marriot showed Rs. 84. I asked the driver why the meter is running so fast. He did not have any answer. When further probed, he said you give me 5 Rs. less. The driver name was Mr. Mujaheed and the auto registaration no. AP13YO577.
Hope RTO takes some action on such cheats.
