Dear Sir,
I am a daily user of irctc website and I fear something abnormal happened today.
I tried to book tickets for 2 people (my parents) under tatkal from Chennai Egmore (MS) to Trivandrum Central (TVC) in Ananthapuri Express (6123). The total availabililty under tatkal is 206.
My PNR 4525865246 got generated at 8:04, but I am shocked to find it in waiting list 71, 72.
I have booked many tickets in tatkal and have never seen almost 300 tatkal tickets booked within 4 minutes in a single train.
Can you please confirm this is normal or some malpractices happened in tatkal reservations.
This is urgent since only two more days left for the journey.
