This complaint is regarding the poor & bad service of IRCTC to it passengers. I have been trying to book my tickets from my home town in Maharashtra to Kalyan on early 8am on 27th May 2011 for Date of 29th May2011. But the Irctc site was working very slowly ans in couple of minutes i.e exactly by 08:07am the tickets were already in 'W/L' or some in 'REGRET'. I don't understand this system. Also the reservations in tatkal were shown W/L on later dates like 30th May, 31st May, which are not yet opened for booking as you have to book only 2 days earlier. I am Really frustrated with this service. None of the times i am not able to book my tickets in Tatkal Qouta. Also the Agents must not be allowed to book online. I think there is some type of cordination with ticketing agents & irctc or Railway employees so, the Online passengers are not available with Tickets in Tatkal.
Also the Call Centre what IRCTC claims to be 24X7, is not so, i tries calling on this no. in morning at same time of 08:30am was not answered for more then 30-45 mins. I Request to Seriously look into this matter and take required action. As we are not satisfied with the service even though paying extra money for this online services. Thank you.
