I had confirmed booking in JET AIRWAYS flight 9W - 481 for travel from Mumbai to Chennai ON 21-12 11.05 dep frm mumbai. My tkt no 5899090147289 and status as confirmed. I checked in at the airport 1.5 hrs before schedule time. To my horror when i reached to get my boarding pass, i was informed that the seats are full and i will not be allowed to board and airways have teh right to do so. after sometime a Jet airways staff the counter issues a boarding pass as SB (assuming stands for standby) and hurriedly takes me through the security check. after doing some tamasha, i am told that the flight is full and that my seat is occupied by some other passenger. They had no clue why this has hap pended. In my opinion it is nothing but someone would have paid higher than what i paid and the seat has been allocated to him/her.
3-4 hrs of mental torture and harassment after paying so much and no fault of mine. We need to know why this is done to a passenger having a confirmed ticket and having reporting well in advance needless to say i am a jet previlage holder. what! previlage this?
