I had purchased the following car from Kundan Hyundai Pvt. Ltd, Thermax Chowk, Chinchwad Pune on 23rd July.

I had sent the car to above mentioned showroom for miscellaneous repairing work, and I had got delivery of the car on 28th May. The car was running Ill for 2-3 days, but suddenly w e found that the Diesel return pipe was disconnected. The lot of diesel was leaked from the fuel tank, then I called the showroom people. They came to attend the problem, but till that time lot of fuel got leaked from the vehicle. The problem was attended by the showroom people by connecting pipe with winding wire and after taking the trail they handed over the car to me.

The showroom technician assured me that the car is okay, you can drive it. They gave us the car & went back to showroom. I started to drive the car & proceed further with my family. But I got shocked after driving for a distance of 2-3 km, the car became slow, & lot of white fumes started to come from the car, other people started shouting that the car had caught fire. I immediately stepped out from the car along with my family, I was scared with this situation. I once again called the showroom people on site. The showroom technicians came on site & checked the car, they suggested to toe the car to showroom.

The showroom people were not having arrangements to toe the car, I had made all the arrange arrangements for the same. This incident took place at around 8:30 PM & we reached the showroom at around 11:15 PM. This was a very helpless & embracing situation as I was traveling with my family in a new car.

I was called by showroom people on next day they observed the car & brought to my notice the problem that the diesel has entered to oil chamber through pump. I had discussed with showroom Manager Mr. Virkar, he told me that there may be leakage of pump oil seal accordingly they sent the pump to Ms. Kushal Motors for repairing. After repairing the car was handed over to me with assurance that now such kind of problem will not occur in future.

I brought the car to home, after using the car just for one day, another misfortune was waiting for me. I was commuting towards Chakan along with my friend, at the place called Moshi the car stopped & I was surprised to see that again the there was leakage of fuel on entire road, and car could not restart because of empty tank. Again I called the showroom people to attend the problem. They came & investigated the car & told that me that ‘O ring of Diesel filter was not fitted properly, they attended the problem & took the car to showroom for further investigation.

At showroom they changed filter & filter body & after taking trail they delivered the car to me with assurance now car is okay. But while coming back from the showroom after driving for 5-6 kilometers same problem repeated lot of fumes were coming from the car, I was not able to switch off the engine also, after attempting 3-4 times, the car engine automatically stopped.

Again I called the showroom people & they came & toe the car to showroom.

This had really demotivated me, I was very helpless & upset by this kind of situation with the new car.

This entire transaction hurt me a lot both mentally & financially. I had no face in eyes of my family & friends, they started cursing for buying Hyundai car.

After investing lacs of rupees in buying Hyundai car I could not get any returns from it other than lot of trouble. After getting lot of trouble I had just made a humble request to showroom to replace the engine, so that I can use the car. Already I’m paying the installments for the car without using the car. My business had also suffered due to non availability of car, nor I am able to help my family in commuting in these rainy season.

I request you to please look into this matter urgently & arrange for replacement of engine, as the showroom people are not satisfying my queries & are insisting the replacement of pump & are ready to repeat the same incident.

I am not able to believe that this car will able to serve my purpose of buying the car.

Currently the car is in showroom, please look into this matter & resolve it at the earliest. If we don’t receive positive reply from your side it force us to go to consumer court.
