Lack of customer care service

I purchased a laptop inspiron 15 a month ago . the antivirus in it got deleted coz there was a virus, i formatted the laptop . now i dont have any antivirus . and the dealer said i will have to buy it. DELL is supposed to give a antivirus cd, but they have only given a trial version of it . please help ..
