POOR DELL SERVICE

After 2-3 months of buying DELL Inspiron, we got problem with display (extreme pink tint). I called up many times. Nobody came to attend. Finally, I got assistance over phone itself and followed the instructions to figure out the problem which was defected LCD and the same needed replacement. Case no.4917201.We called up N no. of times to get the part. At last, we got the info that the part has been delivered (not at our place) from overseas and soon some engineer will come to fix it up. Again we followed up to get the engineer along with part. Finally one engineer brought part which was WRONG part. Damned!!!

That was height of patience! I finally requested to please pick up laptop & pay back. Ref. No.7798814. Again many calls to DELL and after 2 weeks, I got call from Savika D (Customer Care Specialist, Blore; [email protected]) and got pick up declaration form via mail on 09.09.10 which was duly signed and sent back to her on 10.09.10.We dropped so many trailing emails requesting to commence pick up process (I can forward same which is a chain of at least 15 mails), but could not hear anything positive from her. At last, she also stopped reverting back.

On 04.10.10 (near about after one month) & without any prior info, we got a call from some DELL guy (Vishal#9923041360) that he is coming to pick up laptop. As I have dumped this useless laptop at home and me & my hubby being working; home remains locked all the day. So, I took half day leave from my office so that I could return laptop to Vishal at home on 04.10.10 itself. I sent my home address via sms to Vishal and asked him to come at home. I and my hubby called him throughout the day & evening, but he made excuses and said he will be coming in next 15 mins. He fooled us around till up to 9.30pm and didn’t come. On 05.10.10, I called him & he said he didn’t get address via sms (he didnt tell this thing previous day) & other excuses. Still being patient I asked him to carry laptop from office only. But again, he betrayed on us and didn’t come on 05.10.10 also. On 06.10.10, my hubby called him and he misbehaved and said "Don’t call me again. I will not come. If you have problem, just talk to DELL"

Disappointments over Disappointments!!!

We had mistaken choosing DELL.

My office work got hampered due to defected laptop.

It was not value for money. I hope one can understand that how frustrating it could be for us always following up with DELL leaving our other works hampered and getting nothing!!! More is the case, when your calls keep us on hold for hours delivering message “ALL CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES ARE ON HOLD”.

Can you ever imagine how our routine could be while facing these problems unnecessarily created by DELL service? We are being harassed and humiliated by DELL badly.

Is there anyone who can listen to us, please?
