This is regarding the service rendered by one of the service center at Kolkata. Our laptop is in warranty phase. We deposited our laptop to get repaired the motherboard. Same part has been replaced by the service center. However immediately it stopped recognizing the battery. There was absolutely no problem with the battery. It was working fine before we handed it over to the service center. I’m sure the problem started only after replacing the motherboard and I feel it is a compatibility issue between new motherboard and battery. I’ve approached and discussed with the support center several times. But I did not get any resolution. They have said they don’t have any similar laptop to test the battery. Hence I w'd suggest DELL to take necessary action and rectify my issue immediately.
I would also highlight that service center manager and engineer behaved VERY RUDELY. I have been shocked to see a representative from such a reputed organization is handling a customer so badly. I’ve been using many Dell laptops and always been satisfied with the service I’ve received all over the world. But this time it has been a pathetic experience. I hope DELL's higher management will take necessary action to improve the behavior of customer facing units
