This complaint concerns AVG's tech support services that are NOT free. I was experiencing some difficulties, even though I had been using their free anti-virus and thought that I would be able to get their online tech help to fix it. I wound up paying for the online consultation and then continued with their Tech Buddy service. The result was that my computer was in worse shape after they worked on it than it was before I contacted them and I am still demanding a total refund, since they did not deliver on their services.
I have been in contact with them and they know that all they need do is send me a total refund. I might have to engage a consumer agency to get them to do the right thing.
