I have purchased a Lenovo lap top from Online IT Shoppe India Pvt Ltd, Cochin on 1st July. While I was working on it the adapter suddenly crackled and smoke was seen coming out of it. I switched it off immediately and
haven't used it after that. I had been to your service center near Cochin
shipyard - Glorine service center today. I was given your toll free service
number. When I talked to them, I was told that there is no replacement for
a burnt adapter. This is very disheartening.
The adapter was not kept anywhere near fire, nor has
it fallen from my hand, nor has it fallen into water. This was something that happened spontaneously while I was working on it. I was asked by your customer care person to send this application to you. I hope I will receive help from you in replacing the damaged adapter.
