I purchased a all in one inspiron one 19 desktop from dell in september 2010. it came with three year onsite warranty. since august 2012 it started giving problem to which the company attended but the break down became so frequent that i had to register complaint almost daily and it became totally impossible to use the system. so i demanded that they should replace the system to which they agreed but later on they put one condition that "i will have to provide them with road permit. i tried to get the road permit but in the process i came to know that it is not possible to get road permit by an individual for isolated one item. so i informed them regarding this and requested them to deliver the system through their dealer in patna and i will bear the cost for the amount they spend on road permit. they rejected the demand and suggested that i should receive the system in some other state where road permit is not required. so gave an address of delhi but then they put another demand that i will have to give road permit for the pickup of the old system. then i requested them to make the system functional some because it was not possible for me to get the road permit. they tried to service it but could not make it functional. then informed me that they will replace the system as they are unable to fix the problem, at that time i told them about the problem i had faced earlier in getting the road permit. i also told the supervisor clearly that i wont be able to provide the road permit as i have already tried for two months earlier, in reply he said don't worry this time we will not trouble you. but again they are again asking me for road permit.
so now i think they are trying to linger the issue till the expiry of the warranty. warranty is expiring in sept.2013. i am hopeful you will help. regards
