I was given the LPG (Indane) domestic connection from Aiswarya Gas Agency after pressurising me to buy their stove on 23-06. In this way they had denied my right as a consumer to buy a stove of my choice and price. They compelled me to take the cylinder with me then itself. When I told them that I couldnt connect it myself and it was their duty to connect it securely and test it, they informed me that they could deliver it only by 11a.m.the next day (i.e., 24-06). I agreed to it.
But when they didnt deliver it till 3 p.m., I enquired the agency over phone and I was told that the load had not arrived and would deliver it the next day.
When I asked how they could offer me the cylinder on the previous day and why I am not given the cylinder after taking the money for it along with the connection and allied charges, and what is the use of the stove without providing me the cylinder, they used harsh language and disconnected the line.
Why am I being harrased? Is it because I was humble and obliged by their illegal conditions? Or because I am a lady?
