I am a 2007 batch PGDIB student, I have cleared all the subjects & asignments by Feb. After a period of 6 months when I have enquired for diploma certificate SCDL said I have to submit the project or case studies.
SCDL have stopped projects for 2008 BATCH but when I have raised this point in fornt of SCDL they give unsatisfactroy replies.
I am writing this because I want no body will get stuck like me. SCDL treat students as money machines nothing else. They are expanding only by website but there centre of learing are very less. I want students will go for DISTANCE LEARING courses from SIKKIM MANIPAL OR PTU rather from this SCDL.
I want to aware maximum people as I can do by this compaint that SCDL only want money from students nothing they are doing in favor of students.
They take complete fees at intial stages but other University will take money by semester or by yearly basis. SCDL only give marks but no complete details of checked asignments and papers due to which student suffered alot.
I have submitted the case studies out of my busy schedule of JOB and SCDL took 50 days to check that case studies and declared that I have not cleared the Case studies. When I raised thie question to SCDL they only reply with

Kindly check your project/ case study submission score in your performance sheet. You would be required to re-submit the same along with re-submission charges of Rs 250/-.
Also note that academic policies/ syllabus is revised for every batch at the discretion of the institute.
