Non refund of huge admission fees on next day cancellation

On 26th March Rs 93660 by cheque were deposited for admission of my 3 kids for the session 13.

Due to sudden unexpected serious family problems at home, admissions were cacelled on 29th March.

School refunded by cheque but only Rs 60660 i.e 11000x3 = Rs 33000 less for admission fees.

This is very painful and not understandable why school should not refund the huge amount Rs 33000 Admission fees.

Is there any body /any law to safe gaurd the our hard earned money which the schools are absorbing without any services???
