I am a passout student of INLEAD - Indian Institute of Learning and Advanced Development which is an endeavor of Primordial Systems P. Ltd., which is a registered firm in Janakpuri, New Delhi and the institute is located on hero honda chowk, gurgaon. There are certain things which i want to share about it for your benefit.
Name: INLEAD seems to unregistered name as name like National, Indian, India needs to be registered by concerned authorative bodies. Primordial systems is delhi based registered firm and not inlead.
Courses:
they offer one year pg diploma programs in events management, corporate administration and facility management, hospitality operations management, marketing. now they have also started one year pg diploma in international hotel management and healthcare administration. during my time these courses where not recognised by either UGC or AICTE. They have tie ups with ITDC for some courses not all. Now they have tie up with Lingaya's University, Fardiabad but i have my own reservations on the status of recognition of these programs. Caveat Emptor - Buyer be aware. Do cross check from Lingaya's University for understanding how these programs are UGC approaved as claimed by it. They charge a hefty fee of Rs. 2.5 Lacs for only 6 months of class room teaching which is very expensive. Their main course is events management and public relations and hospitality operations management.
Model:
They have a unique style of 2 quarters of class room teaching and 2 quarters of industry exposure.
Teaching: 6 months is a very small time to teach any subject in total to students. one only have a touch stone knowledge of subjects.
Library: Library consists only two cupboard of books which i will say is insufficient to share the knowledge with students. They charge a hefty fee of Rs. 2.5 lakhs and dont give any books as text books. neither they keep sufficient copies in their library.
Service tax: they charge service tax on all fee which is surprising as other recognised b schools dont charge service tax on tuition fee. please check it from your C.A..
Employability Assessment Test:
They have a unique way of conducting twice employability assessment test where they harrass the students by bouncing those questions which they have never taught. for most students employability assessment tests become a nightmare.
Placements: it is average just like any other institute. dont go by the big names and hefty salary of some students mentioned on their websites. they can also be jobs arragned by the students themselves and not by the institute.
Kindly think on the above mentioned things before taking admissions.
