We bought Godregj- 1.5 ton split Airconfitioner from Spencers' Gurgaon. During May the A/C stopped working. On calling Godrej customer care, a person from local Gdorej support - EXCELLENT SERVICE visited and said it was the STABILISER problem, we got it repaired from the electrical shop and called the same person to check and make the A/C operational. A/C diidn't work. On calling the EXCELLENT SERVICE person to check . he declatred this could be a gas problem and suggested us to get NITROGEN CHECK done.
This was a chargeable services and we paid INR 450 for it. After NITROGEN CHECK we were told that there is a gas leakage and we need to pay INR 2500 for gas fill with 3 months warranty for any future gas leakage. After gas re-fill, A/C was still not operational.
Now another EXCELLENT SERVICE person visited and declared it the compressor problem, compressor is not working and needs replacement.
On requesting replacement, EXCELLENT SERVICE person asked for the purchase invoice, we said it is 3 yr old purchse and we donot have the purchse invoice. Then Mr. Yogesh from EXCELLENT SERVICE sais it is not possible for us to replace the compressor as warranty is void without the purchse invoice.
NOw he is ready to replace the compressor after we pay INR 8500.
What a plight that too with a brand like GODREJ. Is any - GODREJ representative listening to our woes then please intervene and get us justice.
I would not suggest anyone to buy andy of GODREJ products. WELCOME to miserable state of cosumers in India.
