Lack of Service in Warranty Period

I purchased an IFB fully automatic top loading washing machine Model number AW7233, Sr. no 80700301 on 12/Jan which has been out of order for the since 28/04 and I registered a complaint on IFB’s Toll Free number on 30/04 under complaint no. 6282112. The Machine is under Warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase i.e till 11/01/14

The local technicians in Trivandrum attended within a couple of days, and after inspection declared that some part has burnt and it has to be procured from Kochi.

From that day both the IFB local technician Mr. Shyam Lal in Trivandrum have been dilly dallying with a promise of Service but quoting that part is not available and the Toll Free helpdesk saying that the matter has been escalated.

Apart from the fact the severe inconvenience we are undergoing due to the absence of a Washing Machine the IFB still maintains their nonchalant attitude.

Today I was able to get in touch, through the Toll Free number, with one Mr. Anil, who is supposed to be the Area Sales Manager and I got a very rude shock with his attitude. He said we should consider it a favour that he was even connected to a customer and he could have very well switched off his mobile.

With such an attitude of the company and their representatives I am not sure if the machine will ever be attended to in the near future.

The Toll Free helpdesk gave me an email id [email protected] for lodging a complaint but as expected there is no response from there too.
