I bought IFB top-loader Washing Machine on 18th May (from Noida) and we found it not working very next day, on 19-5. We lodged complaint on 19-5 but the customer care is daily making just one statement since 19-5: "we are forwarding your complaint to the relevant department". No movement on my problem even after 10 days. I bought this machine from Rythm House, sector 18, Noida; when I contacted the dealer, I didn't get any kind of help.

After repeated follow ups, their sales-manager (not part of call center) has started saying that they'll replace the machine as the unit sold to me was "known to be faulty". And since they have sold me a faulty and phased-out machine, they'll give me a new model and I'll have to bear the extra cost of that new model. I am surprised how such a big MNC is making its customer fool.

Can someone let me know if I have a solid case to bring IFB and the dealer Rythm House to consumer court and get jsutice?
