Our brand new Ketko 3.5Kw 1L capacity Instant water heater barely warms the water. Even when the water flow is kept very low, it only heats the water to just slightly higher temp. I called the service technician and as per him the heater was performing as expected. The store where I bought it refused to change/take back the heater as it was now a opened product. (I am not sure how can I find out the product is not performing without opening it!!).
We have another 3 Kw heater that is more than 5 years old and it heats water to a higher temp than this Ketko and at a much faster flow.
On top of this, the service technician and the Keko Cust Service told me I would have to pay Rs 285 to change the coil to a 4.5 kW if I wanted the water to be more hot.
I am aghast at the quality of product that Ketko has offered and feel the company is just out to extort money from hapless consumers. (I bought another brand heater at the same time as Ketko from another store that is 4.5kw and only paid Rs 50 more which is working perfectly fine)
Please do something to stop this fleecing of consumers and passing on inferior quality products on them by Ketko.
