Sir,

I am Narayanan, I bought a new PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP from AMRITA & Co @ No.16 & 36, Pillaiyar Kovil Street, Pallavaram, Chennai – 600043 on 25-11 at 3.00 pm and paid amount is Rs.3695.00 under invoice no 8197, afterwards I brought it to my house to prepare food (Dosai) PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP just worked 10 minutes and I could not cook anything so I thought that due to power problem, same day night I try to cook again but not able to do it, so I and my wife bought food in hotel cost @ Rs.85.00, next (2nd) day morning again we got same problem, so I and my wife bought food in hotel cost @ Rs.65.00, I found that it is not due to power problem it is because of PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP is not in good condition so I made a call to AMRITA & Co @ 044-22642229 spoke with AMRITA & Co staff and their response was so irritating (they treat consumers like cattle) finally he suggest me to bring that PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP for service, i went to AMRITA & Co with all cooking materials (flour, oil, thava) and they said that PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP is not working so they gave me a another PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP, I back to home with new one and found same problem in new PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP, as it shows error code E9 but this E9 is not mentioned in their user’s manual, so I asked with AMRITA & Co staff they are not know about it and said it may be for low power, but infront of me they called PRESTIGE SERVICE staff MR. Velu @ 961152644, he said that E9 for over heat of the material (thava) for Dosai so he ask me to remove the dosai thava for 2mints and continue cooking, I told that “but I got the same error code for pressure cook mode, want I remove the pressure cooker and continue, also it is taking more than 10 mints for one dosai, if I want to continue to cook dosai I could make just 2 or 3 only afterwards the PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP entirely turn off so what should I do” he suggest me to give back that PRESTIGE INDUCTION COOK-TOP to cheat again. I really don’t know that what they are going to do for me, but my questions are “How dare they ready to cheat the consumers and how dare they reply irresponsible to consumer, they treat consumers like cattle”, are these good for us??? I need some action against them sir.
