Food Days in BTM layout (Bangalore, Karnataka, India) use to accept Sodexho cupons for any food item purchase, but they wont give changes (if any) in return. always they ask to buy the stuffs for the whole cupon amount as paid, If not taking then the extra amount they just keep with them (I have lost 2-5 rs cupon amount so many time in this way). Last week I bought some of the stuffs and the total sum came up to 205 rs. I paid 200 rs in cupons and as i dont want to buy anything more and dont have cupon for 5 rs, so i gave 100 rs note (not a single rupee change was in my bag). The counter guy refuse to pay me back the change even asked me to give him more cupon amount and buy something or reduce my stuffs as they dont want to give the change back for 100 rs note. The behaviour of the person was so rude and when i asked him for his manager's number to complain he gave me a wrong number. I was a reguler customer, but after this incident i wont thought of going again to that store.
The retail stores like Food Days, i wont expect such odd behaviour with their customers from the ground level stuffs.
It would be great if some body from the governing body can heads to this kind of issues.
