I purchased a bottle of Minute maid " Nimbu fresh" from Tiger Punjab Restaurant, Company Garden, Mussoorie. the bottle was well within expiry period. When I unsealed the bottle, I could hear a fizzy sound. Ignoring the sound, I gave the drink to my 8 years old daughter, who immediately complained of a bad taste of the drink. I, myself verified the drink by tasting it. To my surprise, besides bad taste, it also smelled foul. I got the same bottle tasted by another lady there, who confirmed the rotten taste & odour. I immediately gave 3 calls on the consumer-helpline no. mentioned on the bottle. But noone picked up the call. Then I wrote a mail to the on the mailing address mentioned on the bottle, asking for the QC report (with microbiological testing).
In return I got a call after three days from the coca-cola office at Gurgaon investigating about my reason for writting the mail. The caller promised me of a call-back after sometime, which I have not recieved till date, despite having written a mail again.
You are requested to pls intervene, and ensure that a due reply is given by the company mentioning the methodologies company follows for to ensure that a things made for human consumption are not taken lightly (as coca-cola has a bad reputation due to residueal pesticides in colas) and that the customer grievances are handled properly.
Pls do revert with suggestive measures, if any
