I had booked a Godrej Slimline 3-door Almirah at Godrej Interio showroom, Jayanagar, Bangalore on 9th October with invoice number 70I/24081578 and customer code 93SR2N. The item was delivered on saturday the 29th October inspite of insisting the vendor to deliver it before wednesday the 26th october. On the same day when the technician arrived to do the assembly, he realized that the "Partition frame" of the almirah had a manufacturing defect. He obtained a signature from me on the complaint form (Complaint number: 574207) regarding the defect which was to be reported to the godown at Nelamangala, Bangalore. The technician also telephoned to the godown supervisor to mention about the same. When we contacted him after 3 days, the supervisor informed that there was no stock of the particular item and mentioned that the consignment has to arrive from Mumbai factory/inventory. Till date the issue has not been addressed either by the dealer nor by the godown supervisor. The purpose of our buying the product is defeated and we are extremely dissatisfied with the kind of service provided by the so-called "reputed company" Godrej. Please Help!!
