This complain is in reference to non-delivery of a setner beanbag, which was supposed to be delivered in Bangalore. The payment was made online via a debit card. I had placed the order on 11 July, 2012, the expected delivery time was 5-7 days. Its the 24th of July and the order has still not been delivered.
More than this, its really disheartening and annoying to see how your people handle customer complains. Without any exxageration, I have been trying to track the order since the past one week and have made some 10 calls on your customer support. Each time I was promised a call back from your end with a status update, but I did not receive a single call back. I have spoken to some 10-12 different people right from your customer care executives to the floor managers, but none of them was professional enough to revert with a status update. I am the one who have been calling them time and again, wasting my money every single time, after aving made the initial mistake of investing in homeshop18.
The team has still not been able to track the order. They say they are not able to contact their logistics and transportation department. I really fail to understand that how come a big name like Homeshop18 cannot have its departments inter-connected. I mean havent we technologically progressed enough to track a mere courier in minutes? Its really shocking to get such responses from your team.
They have been constantly delaying the tracking since a week, giving me false hopes each single time. Online shopping is supposed to make life easy for people. However, this sour experience with homeshop18 has left me with a lesson not to trust your portal at least with online shopping. I frequently shop from other websites also, but havent had such a bad experience elsewhere. They manage their orders properly and ensure from their end that their customers and their queries are handled in time and in the right fashion.
I do not even know how far this complain be acceded to, but yes its ridiculous how someone's money and someone's time doen't matter to your team at all. And its disturbing to keep running aftre a thing without any mistake of your own.
You are some of the best names in business in India, and am sure I do not need to tell you about the importance of integrity and customer relations for a business, but I have my doubts how far your team understands and more than that implements these business ethics.
I just feel cheated and fooled.
