I just came to realize that customer support is non existent for Salesforce. Our account is deactivated for several days (from the date of last license expiry date), even after paying the License renewal fee (debited from our account) along with the order form weeks before the due date.
The following steps done.
Contacted account executive over phone, email. Says it is due to unavoidable reason and will be fixed. (But no result so far)
Now the more interesting part.
On trying to login I get the following message.
"Your company's salesforce.com account has been deactivated. You can easily reactivate your service by subscribing to salesforce.com now. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 353 (0)1 440 3502. Thank you."
However email to the above mentioned id actually bounced! Message as follows.
"Info8@salesforce.comLook up in Salesforce
There's a problem with the recipient's mailbox. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator."
Tried contacting the number provided above ( 353 (0)1 440 3502). Got the message 'you need to contact during the office hours.'
Tried to contact the Gurgaon office, where I initially contacted for the first license.
Got a very feeble funny noise over the phone then went for a voice message recording system. Repeated 2-3 times.
Tried to contact Mumbai office. Says that extension number is not available.
Tried to contact Bangalore office. Nobody picked the call.
Now if you search the net for Salesforce complaints, you will see how their SEO guys have really fixed the problem by pushing positive web pages about Salesforce for these keywords and also catching all the complaints to a dubious website www.salesforcecomplaints.com
