Cancellation of HDFC ERGO Policy

Hi,

This is Swaminathan Sriram from Chennai.

I have recently got the HDFC Ergo policy with my hdfc Credit card. After i received my card, i got the call for this policy. I was told whatever sum I pay as premium, it will be tax free, I can understand that it only provides exemption not a rebate. I have called them to cancel the policy, but they said, it is processed and cannot cancel by that time. I would like to cancel the policy because my company is already providing insurance. so, Please cancel the same and debit the amount back to my credit card.

Total amount debited : 18831.00

After checking sms message, i came to know that they have put two policies which i am not aware of. Please cancel the both at earliest.

HDFC ERGO - Medical Insurance Policy : 51221914

HDFC ERGO - Personal Accident Policy : 51221915

Kindly do the needful by cancelling both the policies at the earliest.
