I have under went Lasek surgery in medivision hospital under the supervision DR.Ravi kumar Reddy. Actually I was an improper candidate for the surgery and the doctor has still performed the surgery as a result of which I now have dry eyes, double vision, star bursting, ghosting and poor night vision.
Prior to the surgery I had dry eye, because of which they should have rejected to perform surgery on me. But the doctor has given optive eye drops dosage prior to the surgery in order to exam my eyes and take the tests that had to be performed prior to the surgery.
There was another mistake performed on me prior to the surgery may also be the cause of the my visual outcome which is improper dilation in preoperative tests.
Prior to the surgery I was informed that I would be recovered in a week and but the very next day after the surgery he said it will take upto a month for your recovery. It is now 2 and half months post surgery and I am still not recovered from this surgery. Now I am getting the promises that it would take six months for complete recovery.
So I was misguided by the doctor and as well as damaged both my eyes permanently because of which now I can no longer see as good as I used to see with the glasses and can no longer produce tears in my eyes.
Just because of the negligence in performing my preoperative tests and improper guideance, I am now suffering from severe visual disturbances that is even impacting my job and I can no longer drive even my bike during night.
