Filling air in the tube while packaging

I bought HHFUCID* Cream from 98.4 Chemists which is manufactured by HeSa pharmaceutica Batoli Kalan, Baddi, Solan 173205 (H.P.)

Marketed by H&H Pharmaceutica pvt. Ltd. 106 Doctor House, Deshmukh Marg,

Mumbai 400026 (Mfg. Lic No. : MB/07/533)

Its a 10mg packaging. Which i have to apply everyday for my scalp allergy.

I was shocked to see that when second time i wanted to extract cream i could see nothing coming out of tube. Till the squeezing point reach to the top. It was air filled in the middle of tube. so that in the biginning you see ointment coming out then just air and in the last some more. I figured out the tube had appx. 5mg of ointment in it.

That too sealed from the mouth. It is not expired, not puffed or tampered. It clearly appears that the manufacture has filled the tube in stratigically.

I end up paying Rs.153 for half filled tube.

This is frustrating when you buy tax payed medicines and the manufacture is smartly trying to fool consumers.

There should be a check on their activities. I am sure this is not a new issue. There has to be some action against the manufacturer and the Marketer.
