Airtel pre-paid 3g sim recycled

I had purchased 3G modem and pre-paid sim card number "8197176812" on 7th Sept from airtel store marathalli bangalore. It stopped working from past two days I was shocked when I called customer care to know that sim has been recycled due to document issue. There was no prior information given before recycling the sim card. They did not even call me for verification of the sim card. I had paid "rupees 2, 840"which includes plan activation charges modem charges. I had produced all my legitimate documents even after that without any "prior notice" the sim was recycled. I have received only welcome mail and nothing else from airtel.

I spoke to nodal manager Mrs Sowmya and appellate manager MR Anil and got the same answer that we can not do anything. I was told to buy a new sim card. I am ready to buy new sim card but what is the grantee that it will not be recycled? I asked that if they can transfer the remaining amount to my new sim if I purchase one, they are not at all "willing to do anything other than saying we are sorry sir we can not do anyhitng". This has schocked me a lot, how can they just recycle my sim card and say docuemnts were not proper. If documents were not proper they could have requested on before recycling. I tried all my limits to get my sim and amount back but that was not possible. Please let me know how to proceed wit this. You can reach me @ 9886773081

Note: In the same airtel store I saw at least 6 ppl with the same complaint.
