I have requested for broadband connection on 24th December. I paid 1300 rs. in advance for the same by cheque on the the name of Bharthi Airtel. they promised me that they will make internet working at my place on the very next day evening. But on the 4th day, they sent their representative and he said there is some technical problem and he will let me know next day what can be done. Next day when i called him he said internet connection is not possible at my place because of unavailability of the port. I called Airtel and said them the same thing. Now when i called sales representative the same thing, he said he can still make it happen and he will look for some alternative route. On 6th day he en cashed my cheque and in the morning and in the evening he told me that it is not possible for him to provide me the connection.
I asked for my money back, they said he cant provide me, as it is in Airtel account now. I tried reaching Airtel from that day onwards and calling them every 2nd day. All the time they are saying, they have escalated the issue and give me some request id. today again, when i called them and ask them about the status of my refund request, they said your case is closed as no payment is being reflected in their portal. And someone from concerned dept. will call me soon. In all these days, there duration of refund increase like... 7-10 days at first. then 21 days and now they are saying 45 days. Also as they have updated me, there is no payment been updated, even when i have receipt of 1300 rs. Now, my concern is, where is the money then?
who took it? Moreover, Airtel people never called me back. No intimation, no e-mails and i have to chaise them every time. My receipt id or request id is 450202. plz do some thing abt it.
