Poor Broadband Service and Complaint Resolution - Airtel

I have been using Airtel Broadband (landline no. 0120-4319820) since August. I had initially subscribed for 899/- plan and switched to Impatience 1399/- plan on 13th Dec. But to my utter disappointment the speed of my link decreased to 1 Mbps after just around 15 GBs of usage (instead of the specified 25 GBs) on the 28th of Dec, after which it has continuously varied in the range between 512 Kbps and 1 Mbps. The issue was finally sorted out after repeated complaints, but not before 8th January, a period of 11 days. My billing date starts from 8th as well.

I have received the bill for last month's usage and I requested Airtel to send me the corrected bill in order to avoid any delay in submission as I was not entitled to a payment according to Impatience 1399 plan since my link speed had not been as specified in their plan description. At first they ignored the complaint and marked the complaint as resolved without even caring to consult me. Finally, after 3-4 repeated complaints they budged and called me up to say that as per the terms and conditions, I am not entitled to any kind of concession in the monthly rental on accounts of delay in resolving the speed issues.

Now I keep receiving irritating automated reminder calls for the submission of the rental.

I am extremely frustrated with Airtel Customer Care's attitude and disappointed in them as far as the complaint resolution services are concerned.
