Cancelation of request regarding change of our broadband phone numbe

I requested to change my broadband phone number 4049306 to some other phone number.

i was told on 14th september, by your customer care representative that there are no charges for changing our number. They told me that my number will be changed by 16th september. but when i called cutomer care today (16th september) they told me that i have to incur charges of rupees 500 for changing my phone number.

And due to the previous wrong information provided by your customer care i want to cancel my request for changing my phone number.
