Airtel Broadband connection money refund

Hi,

I am currently residing at venkatapura, koramangala 1st block. I had applied for airtel broadband connection of the 2nd of august. The airtel agent guy Raj came running and asked us to deposit 1 month of advance payment (Rs.999) so as to get the conection without any installation charges. After that, uncountable number of phone calls have been made and emails have been sent, but all went in vain. These airtel people are simply cheaters.they seem to earn money through the process of cheating numerous people. I have tried to get the connection cancelled. The customer care assured me that they have put my complaint on urgent addressal mode, but never was it taken care of. They didnt even bother to call back to let us know the actual problem. I even mailed the nonal officer at [email protected].

but still they didnt bother to take care of the complaint.instead i got some stupid caf number TBLR265798.

Last week I called the customer care for the last time.they said that the money will be returned through courier at my address latest by 17th sept.11.30 a.m and then on 29th sept.but the money never came. I got call twice from the backend team saying that the cheque has been sent.but alas. Yesterday another guy from the backend team, named vishnu called up and repeated the same words, assuring me that the cheque has been sent. I am fed up. This is the heights of harassment.
