I bought 1 no. AQUAGUARD WATER PURIFIER MODEL 'TOTAL ROBOT' of Eureka Forbes. On 14.06.08 vide cheque no.542198 booked the product for Rs.15490/- and it was installed on 19.06.08. The next day we observed dust particles in the storage tank and immediately we lodged a complaint for rectification or replacement of the machine. The officer involved in sale is Mr. Jayakumar whose cell no.is 9444178164.
We had to contact so many officers in the organisation and efforts were put to see that the service engineers to visit our house only after 1 week. We insisted in replacement of the existing machine with another new machine since it is brand new.
Some how we could convince the officials involved to replace the machine. TO OUR MISFORTUNE, THE REPLACED MACHINE IS STILL WORSE REASONS BEING && 1. THE DUST PARTICLES ARE SEEN IN THIS MACHINE ALSO. 2. APARTFROM FILTERED WATER FLOWING FROM THE PROVIDED TAP, WATER IS ALSO BEING DRAWN FROM UNDERNEATH THE MACHINE.
WE ARE ASTONISHED AND SHOCKED OF THE FUNCTION OF THE MACHINE.
WE HAVE COMPLAINED OF THIS MALFUNCTION TO MR.JAYAKUMAR ON 13.07.08 WHO HAD ASSURED US THAT IMMEDIATE ACTION WILL BE TAKEN ON THIS ISSUE.
TO OUR DISMAY, NOBODY TURNED OUT TILL DAY AND WE ARE VERY MUCH UNHAPPY WITH THE ATTITUDE OF THE OFFICIALS OF " EUREKA FORBES LTD.'.
IN THIS SCENARIO, WE ARE NOT INTERESTED TO USE THE MACHINE EVEN THOUGH THE SERVICE IS MADE. WE NEED THE MACHINE TO TAKE BACK AND RETURN OUR MONEY IMMEDIATELY.
IF THE PROPER RESPONSE IS NOT THERE WITHIN 24 HOURS WE SHALL TAKE UP THE ISSUE IN CONSUMER COURT.
